Richard Lee Goswick, 63, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Memorial services will be Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10:00 am in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home, Coulter Road Chapel. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Richard was born on July 20, 1953 in Aurora, Illinois to Donald and Paula Goswick. He grew up in Borger and worked at Chevron/Phillips retiring after 33 years. Richard enjoyed coin collecting, traveling and spending time with his family. He was an avid Arkansas Razorback, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. Richard will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debbie Lewis.
Richard is survived by his wife Denise Goswick, of the home; a son, Mark Goswick and wife Krista of Amarillo; a daughter, Mandy Tate and husband Dustin of Amarillo; three sisters, Connie McCloskey and husband Mike of Canyon, Donna Chapmon and husband Bobby of Amarillo and Linda McFarland of Austin; four grandchildren, Ashley, Noah, Kinlee and Shaley and numerous nieces and nephews.
