Richard Larry Frazier, 66, of Amarillo died Sunday June 15, 2014. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Temple of Praise Church with Pastor Joe Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Richard Larry Frazier Sr. was born on February 11, 1948 in Clarksville, Texas to Houstene and Virginia Frazier. Larry attended Carver and married his wife, Fannie in May of 1968 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for over 30 years. Larry was a big Nascar fan especially Dale Earnhardt Jr. and he was also a Dallas Cowboys fan. Larry also had a love for talking. Larry loved his family very much and cherished spending time with them and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and his grandmother.
He is survived by his wife Fannie; a daughter Katina Bailey and husband Michael; a son Larry Frazier Jr. and wife Angela, all of Amarillo; two sisters, Linda Dunn of Amarillo and Brenda Frazier of Grand Prairie; four brothers, Lawrence Frazier and wife Rita, Donald Frazier and wife Francis and Stevie Frazier and wife Toni, all of Amarillo and Ricky Frazier of Arlington; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
