Raymond Edward Bylsma

Raymond Edward Bylsma, 51, of Amarillo died on Friday, December 18, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Raymond was born on January 7, 1964 in Camden, NJ to Arthur and Joan Bylsma. He was a New Mexico State Trooper until he was injured and then was a chef in Las Vegas . Raymond then moved to Amarillo and married Hazel Plexico on October 7, 2002. He was a professional coach operator for Greyhound Bus Lines until retiring. Raymond was a great cook who was known for his steaks and tapioca pudding. He was an avid Formula One racing fan and also a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and the Houston Texans. Raymond also was very good with computers with an ability to repair or build them.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two uncles, Bob Bylsma and Raymond Bock.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Plexico; a daughter, Megan Plexico and three sons, Ethen Plexico, Bradley Bylsma and Andrew Bylsma; his in laws, Marsha and Al Plexico; a sister in law, Jeannette Sandoval and husband Moises Jr.; four brother in laws, Albert Plexico and wife Amie; William Plexico and wife Tara, Richard Plexico and Taffery and Alvin Plexico and wife Cindy; three brothers, Artt Bylsma, Myles Bylsma and John Bylsma; a grand daughter, Carli Bylsma and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
