Randy Blake Brannon

Randy Blake Brannon, 30, of Canyon left this world on Friday, November 16, 2018. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 26, 2108 in Trinity Fellowship Church West Auditorium with Pastor Austin Price and Pastor Kyle Wilkinson officiating . Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery, Canyon. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral DIrectors, 8310 S. Coulter Road.

Randy was born on May 18, 1988 in Amarillo to Charles and Tammy Brannon. As a young boy, he had a natural talent for baseball. His freshman year at River Road High School he made the varsity team as catcher, playing this position all four years for the River Road Wildcats. Randy went on to play for Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky. He also enjoyed riding four-wheelers, going fishing and hunting and he was known for his Bar-B-Que.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Quincey Brannon and Jimmy Pillers and his great grandparents, Charles N. and Maxine Brannon, Janie Patterson and Varene Pillers.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Blakelee Gene Brannon; father, Charles Brannon and wife Twila; mother, Tammy Brannon; brother, Justin Brannon and wife, Jami; sister, Ashley Vantiger; nephews, Blaine and Grayson Brannon; grandmothers, Shirley Brannon and Pat Morris and husband, Virgil; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from noon to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
