Ramona Bonilla Gomez, age 72, of Amarillo passed away Friday, February 28, 2014. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel.
Ramona Bonilla Gomez was born on May 6, 1941 to Pablo and Juana Bonilla in Colorado City, Texas. Ramona spent most her life in Amarillo where she was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by a son Mike Martinez.
She is survived by her husband Hector of the home; 2 daughters, Diana Bonilla and Nora Martinez, both of Modesto, CA; 8 sons, Orlando Martinez, George Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Leslie Martinez, and John Martinez, all of Modesto and Rene Garcia of Amarillo; 1 sister, Juliana Serna of Amarillo and 1 brother Pablo Bonilla of Marysville, CA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
