Polly Anna Wheless

Polly “Mimi” Anna Wheless, 76, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away December 4th at her home in Amarillo. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S Coulter Road. There will be no services per her request.
Polly was born September 15, 1939, in Linden, Texas to Fred and Walta Nell Davis. She married the love of her life, Wayne “Popsy” Wheless on December 1st, 1972 at Santa Claus House in the North Pole, Alaska. They lived in Alaska for many years and loved to travel. They enjoyed spending time in Las Vegas and she was a member of the Hall of Fame at The Fremont Casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her Popsy on July 31st, 2015 and her bother, Davis White of Hobbs, NM.
She is survived by three children, Cindy Crump and husband Joe of Amarillo, Donny Rawlins and wife Susan of Fritch, and Vicki Ralls and husband Randy of Borger; Nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
