Phetsamone Khamvongsa was born in Vientiane Laos to his parents Khampoun and Pela Khamvongsa. He was employed by IBP for 17 years and retired in 1995. He enjoyed working in his garden. Playing Badminton and singing were some of his favorite past times.
He is proceded in death by his parents
His survivors include one daughter Mimi Khamvongsa of Sydney, Australia; five sisters Kaysone Sirimanodham, Keonoy Khamvongsa both of Amarillo, Amphone Inpanya of Paris, France, Amone Khamvongsa of Las Vegas, Nevada, Keonhay Thounakane of Ashburn, VA; three brothers Somphone Khamvongsa of Temecula, California, Chanthavone Khamvongsa of Columbus, Ohio, Touy Khamvongsa of Amarillo
