Patsy R. McDonald

Pasty R. McDonald, 76, of Amarillo passed from this life on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Family and friends will gather together to celebrate her life at 4:30 pm Saturday, February 23, 2019 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter Road.

Pasty R. McDonald was born on August 29, 1942 to C.O and Bama Wilkerson. She was raised and attended school in Wellington, Texas. She married K. V. Willard and they had two sons, Kevin and Bill. In 2001 Pat met Gerry Hoots and they would spend the rest of her life together in love. Her passions were spending time with her family, going to the mountains, gardening, cooking and collecting chili peppers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Nell Phipps.

Left to cherished her memory is husband, Gerry Hoots; her brother, Billy Wilkerson, of Wellington, Texas; two sons, Kevin Willard, of Taylor, Texas and Bill Willard, of Sequin, Texas; Gerry's kids whom she loved as her own, Carter and Teri Foshee of Jones, Oklahoma, Gerry Don and Misty Hoots, of Elk City, Oklahoma, Kelly and Mitzi Perry, of Amarillo, Texas and Mark and Shari Bukowski, of Boerne, Texas; granddaughter, Destinee Willard, of Wisconsin and several other grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a special niece, Jan Templeton and her two sons, Dillon and Jarred.
