Patsy Jean Mason, 75, of Amarillo died on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Dusty Cemetery, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Arrangements by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Street.
Pasty was born on September 13, 1940 in Los Angeles, California to Luke and Daisy Pruitt. She grew up in Dusty, New Mexico where she graduated from high school. She married Donald Wayne Mason on June 29, 1975 in Los Lunas, New Mexico. She was the embodiment of love and perseverance. Patsy was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
She is survived by a son, drew wayne mason and his wife Rebecca; a daughter, Jennifer Sabbe and her husband Heath; a sister, Linda Corbin; five grandchildren, Tyler Wormsbaker, Tallon Sabbe, Brock Sabbe, Lauren Ainsley Mason, and Blake Mason; and her husband, Donald W. Mason.
Family suggests memorials to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
