Patsey Ann McCoy, of Amarillo, died on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter Street. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 12:00 until 5:00 pm. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter Road.
Patsey was born on Jun 13, 1942 in Childress, Texas to O.W. and Vivian Jones. She grew up in Childress where she graduated from high school. She worked as a bus driver for the City of Amarillo for many years. She married Robert Wayne McCoy in Amarillo in 1984. At the age of 48 Patsey earned an Associates Degree in Business from Amarillo College.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Rhonda Keys, two brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Timothy Jones and Stephanie Carrasco, Terrie and Darryl Stewart, and Shiela Keys; grandchildren and their spouses, Scotty Jones, Shauna and Jeff Linn, and Kimberly and Paul Escobedo, and six great grandchildren.
