Patricia Darlene Lange

Patricia Lange, 72, of Amarillo, passed away on January 2, 2023, surrounded by her husband, daughters, and several grandchildren. Visitation will be held at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home, 8310 S Coulter St, Amarillo on Thursday, January 5th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and funeral services will be held Friday, January 6th at 2 p.m. at Southwest Church of Christ, 4515 Cornell St, Amarillo.

Patricia Darlene Collier was born November 28, 1950, to Doy and Estelline Collier in Hereford, TX. She married Tom Lange on October 20, 1972, recently celebrating their 50th anniversary. Together they raised four daughters. She was a faithful and lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She worked for Amarillo National Bank for many years, serving in many roles before retiring in 2018.

She was known as Mom, Trish, Tricia, Pat, Patricia, and Grammie.  Whatever name she went by at the time, she was a hard-working woman who loved those she encountered with all her heart, especially her family. She loved giving and serving others. If someone was in need, she helped them like only she could. She did her best to show others, Jesus.

Survivors include her loving husband, Tom, daughter Kerri Morado and her husband Pete of Iraan, daughter Pamela Harris and her husband Charles of Amarillo, daughter Mandy Wetwiska and her husband Ken of Bushland, daughter Mindy Hunt and her husband Brice of Texico, NM. The grandchildren she adored: Garrett Morado of Lubbock; Graycee and Gannon Morado of Iraan; Raelynn, Miranda, Ryleigh, Kayeclyn Harris of Amarillo; Mason Owens of Amarillo, Trenton and Caitlin Owens of Bushland; AJ Hunt of Portales, NM and Sierra and Zayna Hunt of Texico, NM. Sister Sandie Bridges and husband Bo of Hereford; brother Terry Collier and wife Tracy of Dawn; brother David Collier of Amarillo and her in-laws she loved as her own siblings Grace Chism and Veronica Brown of Amarillo; Bill and Tammye Lange of Gainesville, TX; Judy Lange and Joe Lynn Birkenfeld of Nazareth and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Doyal, sisters Marolyn and Carolyn, and her in-laws Joe and Dorothy Lange, Joan Harbison, Bob Chism, Steve Brown, Jerry Lange, and Mary Lou Birkenfeld.
