Panfilo Steven Montelongo, 47, of Amarillo passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020. He was born on March 25, 1973 in Dimmit, Texas to Manuela Montelongo and Chon Montelongo.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven James Montelongo and grandfather, Juan Gonzales.
He is survived by his parents, Chon Montelongo from Rockdale, Texas and Manuela Montelongo from Amarillo, Texas; his daughter, Veronica Ortiz from Hereford, Texas; five grandchildren, Zeek Alvarez, Rico Alvarez, Zandalie Alvarez and Davina Alvarez; his brothers, Anthony Montelongo and wife Connie, Rick Montelongo and wife Laura, Juan Ayala and wife Rachael, Jerry Lucero, Lupe Montelongo and wife Linda, Chon Montelongo Jr. and wife Jennifer, Alonzo Montelongo and wife Jennifer; his sister, Tammy Lucero as well as many nieces and nephews. Steven had a large family and numerous friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
