Holy Rosary will be read 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant.
Burial will be at Llano Cemetery East by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel.
Mrs. Najera was born on January 24, 1948 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Inocensio and Modesta Rodriguez. She grew up in Mexico and had lived in Amarillo for many years at the time of her passing. She loved to garden and grow flowers. Pabla married Martin Najera in 1975 in San Luis Potosi. Mrs. Najero enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her father
Survivors include her husband Martin; her mother, Modesta Pena of Mexico; two daughters, Esmarelda Silvestre and husband Francisco of Amarillo; Gloria Reyna and husband Erasmo Castenda of Amarillo, two sons, Ismael Rodriguez and Martin Maximino of Amarillo; one sister Jovita Alvarez of Amarillo; two brothers, Seferino Rodriguez and Honorio Rodriguez both of Mexico and nine grandchildren, Erasmo D. Custaneda, Alexandra Rodriguez, Oscar Rodriguez, Juan Castaneda, Francisco Silvestre Jr. Abigail Silvestre, Cheyenne Najera, Ema Rodriguez and Ivan Castaneda all of Amarillo.
