Glen was born on January 14, 1956 in Quanah, Texas to Orban and Lavurn Rushing. He worked as a mechanic and a haul truck driver for DePauw Construction and MMM Heating and Air. He married Terrie on July 1, 1998 in Amarillo. Glen enjoyed watching Nascar Racing, going to auctions and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orban and Lavurn Rushing, and a brother, G.H. "Gary" Rushing.
Survivors are his wife, Terrie Rushing; children, Justin Rushing, Jason Rushing, and Andrea Rushing; step children, Shonda Collins and Tina Walton; sisters, Renda Barry, Betty Collins, Kathie Bucchi, Pam Houck, Jenell Coats and brother, Bruce Rushing, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
