Ollie Lee Hicks

O. Lee Hicks, 81, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will be receiving guest from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road.

Lee was born on June 13, 1938 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Lowell and Eula Palmore. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1956. She then went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company now known as AT&T. Lee loved her family more then anything. She adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lee will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Barton-Stashi; a son, Daniel Barton; two grandchildren, Ashlee Barton-Rye and Zakkary Stashi; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Schmidt and Pyper Barton; a sister, Raye O'Kelley and husband Cecil; a brother, Arthur Bullard and wife Debbie; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
