Olga Swanson

Olga M. Swanson of Amarillo passed away on March 26, 2023. She was born to James and Matti Aiken on December 10, 1949, in Camden South Carolina.

Olga worked for the United States Postal Service from 1983 to 1995. She was a member of the Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ. Olga was a part of many charitable organizations, Affirmative Action Committee, Jerry’s Kids, March of Dimes, Hands Across America, blood drives, and United Way. She received awards from, Christmas in April fund drives, “most funds raised” for charity, and Willed Body Program.

She is survived by her husband Henry “Hank” Swanson Sr., brother Al Aiken, stepdaughter Chrystal Fernandez, four grandchildren, and many cousins.

Olga is preceded in death by her parents James and Matti Aiken.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11:00 am at The Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ.
