Ofelia Ayala Mena

Ofelia Ayala Mena, daughter of the late Isabel Mena Paez and Genaro Ayala Saucedo, was born January 18, 1946, in Mancinas Durango, Mexico.

She peacefully departed this life Sunday, August 06, 2023, at home in Amarillo, Tx.

Ofelia was known as a lovely, friendly lady who loved to wear red lipstick.  The words “Senora Bonita” describe her well.  She was always joking around and loved to talk on the phone.  Ofelia was an operator.  Not only was she a good listener, but she gave good advice to all.  She kept up with social media and loved pictures.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Patricia, Diana, Daniel, Erika, and Ruperto; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; six brothers and nine sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
