Norma Florence Doty, 90, of New Lisbon, NJ, died on Sunday, June 14, 2015. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter, Amarillo, TX.
Norma was born on March 24, 1925 in Burlington, NJ to Alfred Frake and Mary Elizabeth Taylor.
Norma lived most of her life in New Lisbon, NJ. She married Bruce Doty on June 11, 1949 in Browns Mills, NJ. She retired from the Pemberton Township School System. She was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife and mother of 5.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bruce, a sister, Betty Herrmann and a son, Taylor Joel Doty.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce and wife Paula Doty and David, all of New Jersey; daughters, Lucy and husband Sam Sottile and Mary Mueller all of Amarillo; a sister, Elinor Vogt of Virginia; a brother, Harvey Frake of New Jersey; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
