Noel Montes, 24, of Amarillo died on Monday, June 30, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Roberta Cabrera as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery East. Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Sunday, July 6, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Noel Montes was born on July 10, 1989 to Juan and Elena Montes in Amarillo. Noel graduated from Palo Duro High School in 2008. Noel loved spending time with his daughters and his family. He loved to go cruising and jamming to music. Noel loved to hang out at Thompson Park and he worked at Home Depot.
He was also a Dallas Cowboy fan.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Martinez and Anthony Montes.
He is survived by his daughters; Julissa Burgess-Montes and Litzy Olivas, both of Amarillo; his parents, Juan Montes of Wolforth and mother, Elena of Amarillo; four sisters, Sandra Fierro and husband Robert Herrera of Odessa, Angelica Luna and husband Juan of Lubbock, Michelle Solis and husband Richard Izaguirre and Elena Montes , both of Amarillo; four brothers, Rudy Villareal of El Paso, Christopher Montes and wife Janet of San Antonio, Pedro Montes and wife Louisa Romero and Juan Jose Montes, both of Amarillo and numerous nieces and nephews.
