Nannie Mae Phillips Graves, 62, of Amarillo passed away surrounded by family on Monday, November 18, 2019. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 22, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel with Pastor Brian Pat officiating.
Nannie was born on September 22, 1957 in Amarillo to Heler and Huelene Phillips. She graduated from Tascosa High School where she played volleyball for the Rebels. She was a resident assistant for Coronado Nursing Home in Pampa. Nannie loved playing the slots, scratch off tickets and bingo, but her favorite thing to do was being around her family and loving on her grandchildren and her great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Torry Graves Castle and husband Ron; her two sons, DeJuan Phillips and Cicely and Joe Graves; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Javion, Jasmine, Ty'shea, Tiannah, Taneiceya and Davion and two great grandsons, Kadrian and Kirye.
