Nancy Fay Gibson

Nancy Fay Gibson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a battle with cancer on Saturday, May 7th, 2016. Nancy was 75 years old. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 13, 2016 in Valleyview Church of the Nazarene, 7601 S. Western with Pastor Larry Dunlap, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S Coulter Street.
She was born on November 1, 1940 to Fay (Read) and Vernon Ford. She married the love of her life, Deward "Gib" Gibson on February 22, 1957. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family. Nancy lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Bud Ford and Bubbie Ford, her daughter Gayla Taylor, a daughter in law Sandy Gibson, a great granddaughter Hope Dockery and loving husband Gib of 49 years.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Gibson and Brad Gibson and his wife Lynn; a brother, Wayne Ford; a sister, Sandra Booth and her husband Alan; 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren with her 7th on the way; and a host of cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
Family will receive guest on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
