Myrta Richards, 72, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel with Pastor Corey Sams of Cliffside Baptist Church officiating.
Myrta was born on March 22, 1941 to Carter and Jewel Heth in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She married Nole Richards on March 1, 1968 in Amarillo, Texas. Myrta was the care giver for everybody that she came in contact with and worked for Donut Stop . She also cleaned houses. Myrta was a hard worker and loved her family very much. She loved taking care of her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, a son Ronnie and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband Noel of the home; one daughter Denise Dillard of Amarillo; one son Billy Dillard of Arkansas; two sisters Dorothy Vault of Hot Springs, Ark and Louise Brooks of Atlanta, GA; two brothers Mike Heth of Houston and Jerry Heth of Amarillo. She is also survived by a grandson, Robert Martin and wife Rachael of Amarillo and a granddaughter Kaydee Richards of Cambridge, MN and one great granddaughter Emma Martin of Amarillo.
