M.T. Holman Jr.

M.T. Holman, Jr., 68, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 in Amarillo, TX.  He was born January 30, 1954 in Wheeler TX to M.T. Holman Sr. and Blanche Dorsey.

M.T. Holman owned Holman’s Paint and Body of Amarillo, TX for over thirty years.  He loved painting cars and doing bodywork.  He was a strong and kind man that loved to laugh and make jokes.  Even though he called us girls his baby, we all knew that his dog “Precious” was his real baby.  We will especially miss hearing his voice over the phone answering with “BODY SHOP”!  We will forever remember, “Son, get that there” and “Baby, I done told ya”….And for that We Love you Daddy!  He will be sorely missed by his many loved ones and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Holman; three sons, Tommy Holman, Bobby Holman and Billy Holman, all of Amarillo; three daughters, Tresa Holman Nevins, Tonya Holman and Tasha Holman, all of Amarillo; brothers, Jimmy Holman, Paul Holman, Frank Holman and Joe Coleman, all of Liberal, KS and Ricky Holman of Lubbock, TX; and a handful of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
