Miranda Leigh Diaz

Miranda Leigh Diaz, 40, of Amarillo died on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Celebration of life services will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter Street.
Miranda was born on February 14, 1976 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Rito and Karen Diaz. She grew up in Amarillo where she attended Tascosa High School. She played basketball and was a cheerleader with Kids Inc. Miranda attended Amarillo College where she earned an Associate degree in Business. She was a dedicated member of Top of Texas, she love to dance and read and she was an avid 49ers fan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Jessie Lira and Ruby and Tom Noblett.
Miranda is survived by her daughter, Codi Diaz-Green; her mother, Karen Diaz-Green; her father, Rito Diaz; sibling, Paige Diaz; grandmother, Norita Diaz; a uncle, Mark Lira and wife Llaura and numerous other family members.
