Michael is survived by his mother, Sherry Denise Shelton, a sister, Ashley Denise Shelton, Grandparents Ted and Donna Lawler of Amarillo, Michael Roy Shelton Sr. of South Carolina, and Jane Fox of California, and two nephews, Michael and J.J. Montez. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Roy Shelton Jr.
