Melina Espinosa, 58, of Amarillo passed from this life on Monday, January 29, 2018. Viewing will start at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018 with a wake service at 6:30 pm in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Melina was born on May 13, 1959 in Morelia, Mexico to Melesio and Catalina Espinosa. She grew up in Mexico. She met the love of her life Jose Olguin in 1976 and they married in 1981 in Chihuahua, Mexico. They moved to Amarillo in 1987 where she worked several jobs in food service and local hotels. She was a catholic.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Olguin; daughter, Melina Soledad and husband Leroy Cruz; son, Cesar Antonio Holguin; three granddaughters, Nadia and Kazandra Cruz and Adelyn Mikaela Holguin; three sisters, Ruth, Libertad and Mimi; four brothers, Manuel, Melesio, Moises and Hugo.
