Melanie D. Solis, 52, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 1:00 pm. Friday, November 24, 2017 in LaGrone Blackburn Shaw MartinRoad Chapel. Burial will follow in llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are under the personal care of LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.
Melanie Was born on January 12, 1965 in Amarillo to Donald and Gayle Scrivner. She married Robert L. Solis on November 1, 1980 in Amarillo. She was a homemaker where she loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother.
Melanie is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Ashley, Anthony, Matthew and Andrew; her father, Don Scrivner; two sisters, Gayla Mahaffee and Norma Baeza; a brother, Clifford Scrivner; eleven grandchildren.
