Maurine Lane, 90, of Pueblo West, Colorado, formerly of Amarillo, died Thursday, May 28, 2020. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Viewing will be at Montgomery Steward Funeral Home, 1317 N Main Street, Pueblo, Colorado on Tuesday, June 2, 1:00 pm-5:00 pm. A second viewing will be at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home, 8310 S Coulter Street, Amarillo, Texas, Thursday, June 4, from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm. A graveside service and interment will be at 1 pm, Friday, June 5, 2020 at Memory Gardens, 14200 I-27, Amarillo, Texas. Pastor Tedd Mathis of Pueblo West Baptist Church will officiate. A celebration of Maurine’s life will tentatively be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Pueblo West Baptist Church, 180 E. Croyden Dr., in Pueblo West, Colorado; Pastor Tedd Mathis will officiate. Maurine was born November 1, 1929, in Wheeler, Texas to K.V. Willard and Gertie Hazle Willard. She was a housewife, seamstress, and food service worker for many years. She and her husband, Glynn, were charter members of Bolton Street Baptist Church, Amarillo, Texas. (She is now a member of Pueblo West Baptist Church in Colorado.) She was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Lane after 63 years of marriage; her parents; a sister, Anne Mason; a daughter, Glennis Maurine Bailey; and a grandson, Scott Elwyn Lane. Survivors include two sons, Terry Lane and his wife, Patti of Pueblo West., Colorado, and Benny Lane and his wife, Becky of Pueblo West, Colorado; two brothers, KV Willard and his wife, Suzanne of Seguin, Texas, and Charles Willard and his wife, Carol of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Kay and her husband, Jeffrey Gardner of Salina, Kansas, Colleen and her husband, Mark Mittag of Glendale, Wisconsin, David Lane and his wife, Cyndi of Castle Rock, Colorado, Glynn Stafford Lane of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Benny Samuel Lane and his wife, Lisa of San Clemente, California; thirteen great-grandchildren, Kury-Lynn (husband, Brad), Darby (wife, Anna), Alexandra, Charlotte, Nadine, Ella, Seamus, Benjamin, Hazel, Daniel, Scott, Sylas, and Shawn; and three great-great-grandchildren, Gavin, Tessa, and Jace.
