Maurice Bowen

Maurice Bowen was born in Spring Valley, Arkansas on October 13, 1922 to Eddie and Berta Bowen. Mr. Bowen was a salesman for most of his life working primarily in Arkansas, California and Texas before retiring from Sears. While he was unable to serve in the military, he was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a member of the Northridge Church of Christ. Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his former wife, Peggy Bowen of Austin, TX, who is the mother of his children; Linda Bowen Horton and husband Steve of Odessa, TX; Wayne Bowen of Austin, TX; Peggy Ann Berry and husband Don of Austin, TX; Bill Bowen and wife Heike of Amarillo, TX. Also survived by his sisters, Geneva Ingram of Yakima, WA; Juanita Ellenbarger and brother Edward Bowen both of Springdale Arkansas. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Arbors or to Hospice.
