Maung Lone, age 58, of Amarillo passed away Monday, March 31, 2014. A Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel with Pastor Rainbow Gold officiating.
Mr. Lone came to Amarillo with his family from Burma five years ago. Mr. Lone was a farmer in Burma, then worked for J.B.S. Swift company in Dumas for two years before retiring. He was a member of Kuren First Baptist Church where he spent a lot of time in prayer. He also gave his testimony to the youth in the church. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family, especially the grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by his parents Saw Pa Tan Taw and Naw Pai Pai.
He is survived by his wife Naw Du. His children Naw Yine, Saw Shwe Hay, Saw Pah Twee Kay, and Saw Pah Yu Kho. His daughter-in-laws Naw Lan New, Naw Ma Aye Bway, Naw Eh Yu Na Htoo, and twelve grandchildren.
