Mason Anthony Young

Mason Anthony Young, 20, of Amarillo, left this earthly world to fly with the angels on March 25, 2021 in Mena Arkansas.

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors in Amarillo, TX.

Mason was born December 21, 2000 in Amarillo, TX to Shane Young and Danielle. Mason attended school in Amarillo and Canyon. Mason was a free spirit and loved with his whole heart. Anyone who met Mason can tell you that he loved adventure and he recently traveled and explored many places that he found exciting. He loved the outdoors, and really enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. Mason was the person you could call on when you were struggling, and he would do whatever he could to help. He cherished his friendships and family. Mason will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Shane Young and fiancé Jana of Amarillo; Danielle Thorn of Amarillo; brother Blake Young of Amarillo, step-siblings Breanna Larance & husband Clayton of Canyon, Janessa & Austin Bartholomew of Amarillo; grandparents Tony and Susan Young of Amarillo, Patricia Thorn of Amarillo; great-grandparents Wanda Thorn of Amarillo & Anna Rockhold of Amarillo; and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and other family that included Mason as their own.
