Mary Lou Meza, 74, of Amarillo died on Monday, May 30, 2016. Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm, Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 am, Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Haider Quintero as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 1505 Martin Road.

Mary was born on December 6, 1941 in Fort Morgan, Co. to Victor and Lula Martinez. She graduated from Wiggins High School and married the love of her life, Tommy Meza on August 26, 1961 in Wiggins. Tommy and Mary were together for fifty eight years and married for fifty four years. She loved to go to Wal-Mart and Bealls. If she wasn't with her friend Lydia, then she was with her partner in crime, Rosella aka (Louise). Beautiful, Loving, Caring, Nurturing and the Rock are just a few words that describe this proud mother to her four children, fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She loved  her family and her grand babies so much. She was a lady of many hats and many trophies and will be greatly missed by her family and everyone that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Victor and two grandchildren, Nicki Meza and Angelica Meza.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy; three sons, Marcy Meza and wife Crystal, Lee Meza and Biolanda Hernandez and Ryan Meza and wife Kaye, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Theresa Henriquez and Mario Guerrero of Humble; fourteen grandchildren, Danielle Alexander, Amanda Arvblom, Thomas Meza, Christina Henriquez, Brieanne Meza, Gabriella Henriquez, Jory Dunavin, Johanna Meza, Ashlee Meza, Dakota Meza, Nicholas Meza and Makayla Meza; seven great grandchildren, Zhane Estrada, Gabriel Arvblom, Avery Armendariz, Mukya Alexander, Elias Arvblom, Kumya Alexander and E.G. Alexander III and two sisters, Judy Jimenez and Margaret Vasquez.
