Mary Johnston

Mary Wilhelmina Johnston, age 75, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on November 19, 2019. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Grace Church, 4111 Plains Blvd., Amarillo, Texas.

Mary was born May 1, 1944 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and married Frank Johnston on May 1, 1964.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, granny, great-granny and sister. She loved spending time laughing, playing card/dice games and celebrating special occasions with her family. Mary took great joy in watching her grandkids and great grandkids grow up.

Mary was a member of Grace Church, and often referred to them as her second family. She was devoted to serving Christ by serving others.

Mary was preceded in death by her grandson Adam Carroll.

Mary is survived by her husband Frank Johnston of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Tina Maloney and husband Joe, Amarillo, Texas, Amanda Glover and husband John of Amarillo, Texas, and Veronica Carroll and husband Chris of McKinney, Texas. Grandchildren Matt Maloney and wife Kaci, John Carroll and wife Lauren, Ben Glover and fiancée Carson Mogolinski, Zachary Glover and Jacob Glover. Seven great grandchildren and six brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be to Grace Church Youth Ministries.
