Mary Encinias passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013. Holy Rosary will be at 6:00 pm Thursday Aug. 1, 2013 at the LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road in Amarillo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Friday Aug, 2, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral in Amarillo with Msgr. Harold Waldo as celebrant. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery
Mary was born on May 15, 1952 in Alamosa, CO. unto Edwardo and Celia Arellano. Soon after that Mary’s Mother passed away and she was raised by her grandmother Sidelia Arellano. Mary graduated from Pueblo South High School in Pueblo. At her high school graduation party she met the love of her life Donald Encinias. They were married on March 20, 1971 in Pueblo. The couple soon moved to Amarillo and began to raise their two sons Shawn and Donald, Jr. Mary was a former City of Amarillo employee and was currently the custodial foreman for Potter County at the time of her death. Mary was a huge Denver Bronco fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother, a brother Jose Reggie Arellano
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Donald; two sons, Shawn and Donald Jr. and his wife Vicky all of Amarillo. Six grandchildren, Donald, III, Zachary, Xavier, Eric, Khoury and Kylur of Amarillo, first cousins Alvin and Leonard Arellano and numerous other first cousins, aunts and uncles from Colorado.
