Martha B. Bryant, 78, of Amarillo died on Sunday, April 17, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 22, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel with Pastor Doug Gehm pastor of Grace Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens. Arrangements by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S Coulter Street.
Martha was born on September 15, 1937 in Wellington, Texas to Claude W. and Amanda E. Black. She married Freddie Bryant and they lived in Amarillo where they raised two daughters. She was a member of Grace Church. Martha enjoyed playing pool, dancing, singing and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, Debbie Perkins and Vickie Hernandez, three sisters and four brothers.
Martha is survived by her five grandchildren, Robert Lavender, Kaylynn Ramirez and husband Rudy, Abel Joe Zepda and wife Greta, Amanda Hernandez and Becky Hernandez; a sister, Margie Black; 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
