Marlene was born June 7, 1953, in Washington, D.C., to Hugh Browne Scott and Margaret Firth-Eagland. She grew up in Amarillo and the surrounding area. Marlene loved animals of all kinds. She loved to paint and enjoyed different types of flowers. She was a very loving and giving person who never met a stranger and lived life passionately. Marlene loved karaoke and sang in the choir at the nursing home. Marlene enjoyed time spent and games played with her many friends at the Jan Werner Daycare Center. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, O.H.P. and Charlene Scott and William James Firth-Eagland and wife Helen.
Survivors include her mother, Margaret Firth-Eagland Scott of Amarillo; a brother, Robert Scott and wife Bonnie of Amarillo; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
