Marisela Flores, 57, of Amarillo died on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Gerardo Uribe as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.
Marisela Flores was born on April 12, 1957 in Mexico to Robert Barraza and Maria Luisa Arvizo. She married Lorenzo Flores in Trinidad, Colorado in 1997. She has been a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church for 10 years. Marisela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Luisa Arvizo.
Marisela is survived by her husband Lorenzo Flores; three daughters, Luz Gricelda Lugo and husband Samuel of El Paso, Angelica Ramirez and husband Alfonso of El Paso, and Magaly Williams and husband Lamar of Killeen; a stepson, Ole Madsen and wife Neri; nine grandchildren, Karina, Alfonsito, Roselyn, Uriel, Samantha, Layla, Natalia, Alondra, and Ole; a sister, Graciela Wilson of El Paso; a brother, Hector Saul Arvizo of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister-in-law, Catalina Flores and a brother-in-law Tacho Flores both of Amarillo.; and a best friend and caregiver Maria Saragosa of Amarillo.
