Margie L. Springs, 75 of Amarillo passed away on July 19, 2011. Her services are scheduled at 1:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter Rd, Amarillo, TX with Rev. Kurtis Spidel officiating. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery
Margie was born on March 19, 1936 in Clarendon, TX to William “Bill” and Flora Rowe. She married Jessie Springs on August 23, 1952 in Clarendon. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church since 1964. Margie enjoyed crafting, playing cards, working crossword puzzles and especially Yahtzee! She loved her family immensely and enjoyed spending time with them.
Her survivors include her husband, Jessie Springs; 2 sons, Gary Springs and wife Beth and Dennis Springs and wife Elaine; 2 daughters, Cathie Springs and husband Tommy Masterson and Christy Springs; sister, Alice Hood; brother, John Rowe and wife Rosa of Canyon; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and her brother.
