Margie Olivia (Frausto) Silva

Margie Olivia Silva 72 of Amarillo passed away Monday December 5, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 20, 1950 to Jose and Florencia Frausto in Amarillo, TX.  She married her first and only love Sammy Silva on June 15, 1968.  Margie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She has an infectious smile that could lite up a room.  She always had a kind word for everyone she encountered.  She never left a soul untouched by her love and grace.  She excelled as a homemaker through her creativity and eye for timeless style.  Margie’s life was a true testament of her faith and love for God.

She is survived by her husband, Sammy Silva Sr.; her children, Sammy Silva Jr., Renee Rubio and husband Steve, Stephanie Murray and husband Kiley, Amanda Arguellez and husband Joe; twelve grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Marcos, Romie, Andrea, Hector Jr., Zachary, Addison, David, Zavier, Gabi and Jase; two great grandchildren, Miquel and Marcello; her brothers, Raymond Frausto, Benny Frausto and Ricky Frausto; her sisters, Julia Frausto, Toni Escamilla and Josphine Campos.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lupita Frausto, Amelia Preciado and Elena Frausto and brothers, Michael Frausto and Tino Frausto.
