Margaret Rubalcaba, 73 of Amarillo passed away on October 1, 2011.
Holy Rosary will be said at 6:30 pm Monday, October 3, 2011 at LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel located at 1505 Martin Road, Amarillo, TX 79107.
Funeral Mass will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at St. Martin Catholic Church, 1507 N. Adams in Amarillo, TX with Monsignor Rex Nicholl as celebrant.
Mass of Christian burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors.
Margaret was born on August 1, 1938 in Amarillo to Pilar and Susie Morin. She was raised in Amarillo where she married Ponsiano “Pancho” Rubalcaba. They had been married for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.
She was precded in death by her parents; 2 children, Yolanda Hernandez and Gilbert Solis; and her brother “Chilo”.
Those left to cherish his memory are her husband, Ponsiano “Pancho” Rubalcaba of Amarillo; 2 children, David Solis of Wisconsin and Rosie Charles of Amarillo; 4 step-children, Joel Rubalcaba of Baytown, Rita Rubalcaba of Pasadina, Cynthia Rubalcaba of LaPorte and Roxanne Jefferson of Paris, TX; 3 sisters, Virginia, Sara and Cecilia; brother, Gilbert Morin; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
