Margret was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio and also lived and worked in Boston Massachusetts. She then worked with National Screw and Manufacturing in Cleveland Ohio during the war. Margret married Julius Ference in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1944. They lived in China Lake California after the war and worked for the Bank of America. In 1955 they moved to Amarillo and worked for the catholic schools until retiring in 1987. She was the Curator of the Amarillo Diocese Catholic Museum and Archives Center. She was an original member of St. Laurence Cathedral Parish.
IMMEDIATE SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Stefan of Amarillo; Brian and wife Neva of Springfield OR. Grandson: Cameron and wife Jessica of Springfield OR. Sister: Jane Fretter of Florida.
Preceded in death by her husband Julius Ference of 36 years. Sisters: Irene, Norma and Lois and parents.
