Margaret Leone (Mathes) Davis

Margaret Leone Mathes Davis was born September 7, 1925 in Lenora, Oklahoma to Paul and Mildred Mathes.  She was married to Archie V. Davis Jr.  Margaret attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and West Texas State University.  She received a lifetime achievement/membership with the Girl Scouts of America.  Margaret was a big sports fan of Texas A&M University and the OBU swim team and enjoyed her sewing and putting together puzzles.  She was a Southern Baptist.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Margaret is survived by her three children, Verna Davis, Clair Balliett and Archie “AV” Davis

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
