Margaret Love Casper, 76, of Amarillo passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011.

Margaret was born Jan. 12, 1935, in Grosvenor to Harvey T. and Christabell Furry. She graduated from Brownwood High School in Brownwood. She then attended Southwest State Teachers College, earning a bachelor's degree in education in 1956.
Margaret taught school at San Marcos High School in San Marcos until she married Donald T. Casper on Dec. 21, 1958, in Fort Rucker, Ala. She traveled throughout the United States with him until his retirement from military service in 1973, settling in Amarillo.
Survivors include her husband, Donald T. Casper; a son, Donald Casper and wife Susan of Amarillo; a daughter, Linda Casper of Brenham; and two grandsons, Cole Casper of Paris, France, and Carter Casper of Amarillo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Hospice, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
