Malekai Cruz Alcozer

Malekai Cruz Alcozer, 14, of Amarillo passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Friday, December 13, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament with Father Marco Gonzalez as Celebrant. The family will be receiving friends from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, Friday, December 13, 2019 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.

Malekai was born on March 21, 2005 in Amarillo. He was a freshman at Caprock High School. Malekai had a lot of friends and they were always hanging out at his house. He had a very outgoing personality and was full of life. Malekai loved dressing up and taking selfies and taking care of his curls, but most of all, he loved being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clemente Pina.

He is survived by his parents, Gerardo and Emma Pina; one sister, Faith Pina; six brothers, Jeremiah Macias, Ismeal Pina, Ricardo Pina, Nathan Vela, Xavier Vela and Vicente Velasquez and his grandmother, Rosa Delgadillo.
