Makinna was born on March 6, 1999 in Amarillo to Steven and Kristina Kemp. She went to River Road High School and was a very energetic person who loved drawing and coloring and any type of hat. Makinna also loved old rock and roll and old country music. She was the perfect rescue girl as there was not an animal alive that Makinna did not love or would help out. When you talk about marching to her own drum and being yourself, Makinna was 100% that person. Makinna was a "Guns Up" girl and also loved the Dallas Cowboys, but neither approached her love for her familly and her baby sister, Zoey.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kristina Kemp.
She is survived by her father, Steven Kemp and wife Jessica; a brother, Grant; two sisters, Lilly and Zoey; her grandparents, Fred Kemp and wife Karen and Marvin Frye and wife Linda; six uncles, Robbie Frye and wife Maranda, Trey Frye and wife Heather, Nick Kemp and wife DeShaun, Jeremy Kemp and wife Brittany, Bo Kemp and wife Holly and Aaron Potter and wife Jackie and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
