Magdalena was born in San Juan, Texas on December 5, 1933 to her parents Nabor and Carmen Camarillo. 

 

Magdalena was a loving wife to her husband, Romulo Treviño Sr. and a mother to 9 children. She loved and helped all her children throughout her lifetime. Being a mother was one of her proudest roles and she continued to sacrifice herself for each of her children. Magdalena not only loved her children, but all of her grandchildren. She was very involved in every family event and never forgot any birthdays or special days. 

 

Magdalena was devoted to her Catholic faith and continued to pray and help lots of people throughout her life. Magdalena was involved in many prayer groups and was called a “prayer warrior” by all that knew her. Magdalena was a Eucharistic adorer. 

 

Magdalena loved to cook and taught all of her children how to cook. She was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing different things. Magdalena also loved to listen to Christian music and worship. 

 

Magdalena is survived by her children, Frances Montano and spouse Willy Montano, Carmen Treviño, Estella Dominguez and Romulo Treviño Jr; her grandchildren, Willy Montano Jr, Lisa Montano, Jennie Van Wagner, Jesse Treviño, Nathan Dominguez, Yvonne Trujillo, Steven Treviño, Robert Rocha, Oscar Treviño Jr, and Ruby Ann Treviño; and great and great-great grandchildren. 

 

Magdalena is proceeded in death by her parents, Nabor and Carmen Camarillo; her twelve siblings; her spouse, Romulo Trevino Sr; her children, Juan Alvarado, Oscar Treviño, Rodrigo Treviño, Ramiro Treviño, and Elizabeth Treviño; her grandchildren, Ramiro Treviño Jr and Joseph Treviño.
