Lynn Ann Bell, 64, of Amarillo died on Monday, August 8, 2016. A Life Celebration service was held at Rolling Hills Riding Club in Amarillo. Arrangements by LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, 8310 S. Coulter.
Lynn was born November 4, 1951 in Hereford, Texas to Harold and Alice (Wells) Rudd. She attended Hereford Schools until the family moved to Amarillo in 1969. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1970. She attended Texas Tech for two year. Lynn married Clarence "Buddy" Bell in Amarillo on March 17, 1984. They lived in Houston and Fort Worth. Then Lynn talked Buddy into moving to the Panhandle. They purchased acreage on Progressive Road northeast of Hereford. After their son started to school they moved to town. She designed and constructed beautiful jewelry. Family members received many of the pieces as gifts.
She is preceded in death by her husband Buddy, a daughter Nicole, her father Harold Rudd and a sister Patsy Thomas.
She is survived by her son, James Bell and wife Lindsey; a grandson, Aiden Bell; her mother, Alice Rudd; foster son, James Andrews; special friend, Robert Hicks; a sister, Cheryle Willingham and aunts, uncles many cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by numerous friends throughout the state.
