Lydia Vasquez Reynero, 64, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, February 3, 2020 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will be receiving family and friends from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Martin Road Chapel.
Lydia was born on July 3, 1955 in Sinton, TX to Domingo and Cruz Vasquez. Lydia graduated from Muleshoe High School and married Richard Reynero in 1974 in Muleshoe, TX. She was the manager of Taco Villa on Amarillo Blvd and Georgia street for 22 years. She was a breast cancer survivor. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and wrestling with her grandkids and shopping with her partner in crime Zeke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Cruz Vasquez. She is survived by her husband, Richard; one daughter, Belinda Ruiz and husband Victor; two sisters, Yolanda Reyna and Cruz Vasquez; two brothers, Domingo Vasquez and Reynaldo Vasquez. Grandchildren Israel Nunez and wife Brenda, Isaiah Browning, Jeremiah Browning, Isabella Browning, Zacarias Ruiz, Zeke Ruiz, Zantiago Ruiz, Zuri Ruiz, Kayl Ruiz, Xavier Ruiz and great granddaughter Athena Nunez.
