Lorada Sargenti, 93, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 02, 2011 in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Jeff Messer, chaplain at Bivins Memorial Home, officiating. Arrangements are by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.
Mrs. Sargenti was the daughter of Van O. Treadway and Etta Green Treadway and was born in Hollis, Okla. She worked as an inspector for a glass manufacturing company and was a longtime resident of Amarillo.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Bivin's Memorial Nursing Home for their care and kindness to Mrs. Sargenti. She thought of them as her family.
Survivors include three nieces, Loretta Elaine Garrison Collins, Carole Stovall and Glenda Ridge, all of Amarillo; and two nephews, Tracey Garrison and Wendell Garrison, both of Amarillo.
The family suggests memorials be to The Empty Stocking Fund, in care of Amarillo Globe-News,
