Elizabeth “Liz” Gallegos

Elizabeth "Liz" Gallegos died unexpectedly and peacefully on October 27th, 2024 in Amarillo at the age of 57. Liz was born June 21, 1967 to Carl and Carol Liebsch also of Amarillo.

Liz was everything she could be to friends and family. She was always willing to go out of her way to help others in need regardless if it was a few bucks or just a shoulder to lean on. Liz was a great family woman, a great mother, good aunt, good sister and a great friend to everyone and will sadly be missed.

Survivors include a son, Chris Gallegos Jr. of Amarillo; a daughter Stephane Galan and children Miya and Xavier of Del City Ok; nephew Tony Martinez and wife Davine of Littleton Colorado; brothers Carl and Jerald Liebsch of Amarillo, and boyfriend Adrian Rangel along with numerous friends that were seen as close as family. 

Liz was preceded in death by her son Bobby Gallegos, Husband of 23 years Chris Gallegos Sr, parents Carl and Carol, Brothers Jeffery, Bobby, and Grandpa John all of Amarillo.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Coulter Road Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St. Amarillo. The family would like Friends and family to join them after the service at La Frontera located at 1401 S Arthur St, Amarillo Tx for food provided on behalf of Mary Martinez and her wonderful establishment and crew.
